This year our performances will be on Saturday, May 18th & Sunday, 19th. There are seven performances and our Adult Jazz & tap concert!
Recital Info May 18th & 19th
Tickets: Tickets will go live via SignUp Genius on March 15th.All tickets have been reserved and prepaid. If you need additional tickets the day of, no problem, we will get you squared away! There are no physical tickets needed to pick up. I will have a list of all families and their reserved tickets at the DAG double glass Check In door! Drop Off: All dancers will be dropped off 30 minutes prior to the start of their Recital. You will drop them off at the single glass door by the AfterSchool Plus entrance. We will have a sign and staff members outside that door for easy reference. The staff will escort ALL dancers into the building and to their assigned dressing rooms. We ask that NO parents are backstage!
Dancer Attire:
Twinkle level dancers need to have hair and makeup done, pink tights on, as well as, their costumes on. Make sure they have their Ballet shoes and either Tap or Jazz shoes depending on their classes. Some classes may have sent home their headpieces and others are here at the studio. We will place all headpieces, so make sure they are packed as well. They should NOT arrive with their ballet shoes on. Please have them in regular street shoes with their dance shoes in labeled bag. The DAG Boutique does have extra dance needs on hand if you find that you are missing something.
Ballet 1 – 5B levels should arrive with hair and makeup done and their pink tights on OVER their tan tights if they are in Jazz, Lyrical or Tap. All costumes should be brought on a hanger and with any headpieces that may have been sent home. We will place all headpieces at the studio. Please make sure that they have all appropriate dance shoes including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical paws and nude colored socks. They should NOT arrive with their ballet shoes on. Please have them in regular street shoes with their dance shoes in a labeled bag. If your dancer needs to have a nude colored Camisole leotard for underneath a costume, make sure that is packed as well. The DAG Boutique does have extra dance needs on hand if you find that you are missing something.
Ballet 5A – 7 levels should arrive with hair and makeup done. They will have a warmup class before their Recital and need to be in a leotard and tights that are NOT for the performance. Please send them with their pink and tan performance tights in their bags. All costumes should be brought on a hanger and with any headpieces that may have went home. We will place all headpieces at the studio. Make sure that they have all appropriate dance shoes including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical paws and nude colored socks in their dance bags. The DAG Boutique does have extra dance needs on hand if you are finding that you are missing something.
Seating: All tickets are General Admission and on a first come first basis. We ask that you do not leave multiple open seats in between families to ensure that all ticket holders are able to be seated. There will be reserved Handicap Seating on the Ground Level.
Pick Up: All dancers will be released at the same door as they were dropped off at. We ask that families wait outside under the awning for their dancer/s to be released. Each dancer will be going home with an Annual Recital t-shirt! 🙂
DVD/Vimeo Link: This year we will be offering a Vimeo Link that allows you to download the Recital, as well as, the usual DVD. The DVD is $25 and the Vimeo Link is $15. There will be a sign up sheet at the Check In table for you to secure your choice.
Yearbook: For those that have ordered a Yearbook, they will be available for you to pick up at the Check In table with me. For those families who may have missed the deadline and still wish to have one, we will have a limited quantity for purchase the day of at $30. These are great way for your dancer to have a little keepsake of their year! 🙂
EARLY Registration 2024-2025 Season: The DAG 2024-2025 season is now OPEN for enrollment! The schedule is live on the DAG website and the Parent Portal. Please take advantage of the $35 per student early Registration Fee for our returning students, good through May 31st. Starting June 1st, it will raise back to the normal $45 per student.
