Our Youth Dance Track focuses on classes for tweens and teens. Students who would like to train in either Ballet, Contemporary Jazz, Conditioning and Hip Hop. Choose one, two, three classes a week. No dance background needed.
Youth Dance Track
Monthly installment option are drafted on the 1st of each month from September- May.
Monday 6:30-7:30pm w/ Ms. Meghan
Ages 11-17. Dance CORE is a one hour class that fuses ballet, contemporary jazz and fitness. Get back into the studio with this fun dance medley! There are 15 sessions from the January- May. No classes on January 18th & February 15th. End of session presentation May 1-2.
Attire: Athletic wear, socks. Hair pulled up off of neck and face.
Wednesday 6:15-7:15 w/ Mr. Martin
Ages 8-12. Ballet will strengthen your legs, build your core strength and improve your balance. There are 17 sessions from the January- May. Students will receive a recital costume and perform in the end of year recital May 1-2.
Attire: Solid color leotard, pink tights and ballet shoes. Hair pulled up off of neck and face.
Thursday 6:00-6:45pm w/ Ms. Alena
Ages 8-12. Hip hop dance is a popular and energetic dance genre. It is unique in that it allows its dancers to perform with freedom of movement and even traditional jazz moves. There are 17 sessions from the January- May. Students will receive a recital costume and perform in the end of year recital May 1-2.
Attire: Loose fitting pants (sweatpants) and loose top. Hip-hop Flair. Shoes should be Black All-star “like” high tops.
